CPL (A) Conversion Course - ICAO/FAA to EASA

Introduction

A Commercial Pilot License (CPL) Conversion Course is a comprehensive program designed to converts an ICAO /FAA license to an EASA one. 

The possibility is given to the candidate to obtain an EASA License by attending a Conversion Course and the basic training in accordance with the EASA Part-FCL regulations.

With this Course the candidate converts the CPL license he already has from another ICAO ATO and obtains a CPL license under EASA.

Purpose and Goals

The CPL Conversion Course is aimed at training pilots who have already attend their pilot training in another Country that is not located in Europe and does not operated in accordance with EASA.

The course is designed to equip students with the skills, knowledge, and experience needed to operate as a pilot in command of an aircraft in commercial operations under EASA regulations.

Course Structure

Ground School: Comprehensive theoretical instruction covering the theory for MEP, PBN and UPRT.

Flight Training: Practical flight instruction in various aircraft types, including 3 hours on single-engine to develop Upset and Recovery piloting skills and 3 hours on multi-engine airplanes to develop piloting skills.

Simulator Training: Use of 9 hours flight simulators to practice instrument flying techniques and PBN.

Requirements

CPL ICAO/FAA Holder: The candidates must be holders of a current ICAO or FAA CPL license.

Minimum hours required: The candidate must have at least 200 hours as total flight time 100 of them as PIC.

Medical Certification: A valid Class 1 medical certificate is necessary to ensure the candidate meets the health standards for commercial pilots.

Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English language, at least level 4 under an EASA examination Center.

ATPL Theoretical Knowledge: Examinations successfully completed under EASA examination Center.

Duration and Cost

The course duration is 7 working days. 

The cost of a CPL Conversion Course is 6.500€.

Certification and Career Path

Upon successful completion, graduates will have the qualifications required to apply for an Airline Transport Pilot License in any EASA Country. This certification opens up career opportunities with commercial airlines, cargo carriers, and other aviation sectors.
