ATP (A) Integrated Training Course

An Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Integrated Pilot Training Course is a comprehensive program designed to prepare aspiring pilots for a career in the commercial aviation industry. This course integrates all the necessary training elements required to obtain an ATP certificate, which is the highest level of pilot certification.

Purpose and Goals

The ATP Integrated Course is aimed at training pilots from zero experience to the Airline Transport Pilot level (Α to Airline).

The course is designed to equip students with the skills, knowledge, and experience needed to operate as a pilot in command of an aircraft in commercial operations.

Course Structure

Ground School: Comprehensive theoretical instruction covering 13 topics such as air law, aircraft general knowledge airframe, aircraft general knowledge instrumentation, mass and balance, performance, flight planning and monitoring, human performance and limitations, meteorology, general navigation, radio navigation, operation procedures, principles of flight, communication.

Flight Training: Practical flight instruction in various aircraft types, including 137 hours on single-engine and 8 hours on multi-engine airplanes to develop piloting skills.

Simulator Training: Use of flight simulators including 55 hours to practice complex procedures, emergency situations, instrument flying techniques and multi crew cooperation.

Requirements

Minimum Age: Typically, candidates must be at least 18 years old to start training.

Educational Background: A high school diploma or equivalent is usually required.

Medical Certification: A valid Class 1 medical certificate is necessary to ensure the candidate meets the health standards for commercial pilots.

Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English, as it is the international aviation language.

Duration

The course duration can vary but typically ranges from 14 to 24 months, depending on the student’s progress.
